About Us
Luigi Monti Home is a center caring for senior citizens, managed by the Congregation of the Son of The Immaculate Conception (CFIC) In India. Blessed Luigi Maria Monti, the founder of CFIC was born in Italy. He dedicated his life to for caring the sick and educating the poor and needy youth. Following the footsteps of Bl. Luigi Monti, the brothers of CFIC India are dedicating themselves to various charitable activities like caring sick and needy, educating the youth, etc.. in different parts of India. Luigi Monti Home is one of those institutions dedicated to for caring needy people.
The center is situated in a village in Kottayam district named Neerikadu, a calm and beautiful place, very close to Meenachil River (One kilometer), 12 KM away from Kottayam City and 6 KM away from Ettumanoor Junction. Within 8 KMs surroundings of the center, there are multi-specialty hospitals like Caritas, Matha, and Mitera Hospitals. Accommodations and amenities of the center are arranged in such a way that, it can give more comfort and convenience to the inmates.

To make it a center that provides a homely atmosphere to the inmates by assuring the love and care which Bl. Monti, the founder of CFIC, showed in his service to be the needy promoting a healthy and dignified life among the inmates.

To follow the footsteps of Bl. Luigi Maria Monti dedicated himself totally to the well-being of needy people. In caring and enriching their lives. To nurture , spiritual and human values in them following the example of Jesus Christ and seeking the intercession of Immaculate Mother who is the patroness of CFIC.
